February 20, 2027 (one month before the wedding).
Yes, if you received a "save the date" text/email from us, you will get a proper paper invitation in the mail.
If you are a random person who somehow found this website, then no, you will not get a proper paper invitation in the mail.
Nowhere! We are fortunate to have everything we need.
We ask that, in lieu of gifts, you consider making a donation to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. 😻🐾
Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). If you're brave enough to fly Allegiant or Sun Country, you'll fly into Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA).
There's no designated hotel for wedding guests. The wedding venue is in the Garfield Historic District, between Downtown Phoenix and the airport. There is an array of hotels, motels, and vacation rentals (plus one hostel) in the area. If you need help finding a place to stay, please talk to Katie.
Adam's work schedule
Katie thought it'd be poetic to get married on the spring equinox, a day of equal dark and light ✨
Off-peak in AZ is an inferno
Sorry 'bout that.
The ceremony and reception will both be at the Alwun House Foundation, a nonprofit alternative/contemporary art gallery with a beautiful garden in downtown Phoenix.
Find out more about the venue here.
There is a small parking lot off of 12th Street, as well as street parking on 12th and on Diamond Street.
Carpooling, ridesharing, and shared Lime/Spin bikes and scooters are encouraged.
Or take the #10 Valley Metro bus to the Roosevelt/12th Street stop, directly in front of the venue!
Music will start at 3:00. Arrive between, say, 2:45 and 3:15 to grab a drink and find a seat. The ceremony will begin around 3:20.
Festive, flowy, whimsical, Southwestern garden party . . . relaxed yet elevated . . . like a backyard wedding but in an artist's backyard . . . like a springtime festival in an English village . . . like a market filled with fresh produce and wildflowers in a rustic European hill town . . . like the movie Midsommar but without the violent cult.
Does that clear things up?
No??
Let's just call it "dressy casual." Flower crowns and bolo ties welcome.
Mostly outdoors, presuming it isn't 100 degrees. (And if it is 100 degrees . . . probably still outdoors. TBD. 😬)
The ceremony will likely take place on grass. The reception will be on uneven flagstones and concrete. Choose your shoes accordingly.
Yes! (But you are also welcome to make this a "grown-ups only" night out. Whatever is easier / more fun for you!)
Pita Jungle buffet. 🥙
Please share any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We want everyone to get fed!
Beer, wine, iced tea, and so much LaCroix.
A legal ceremony joining our lives and families together. In the middle ages, brides would be offered for territory and allegiances.
Adam, obviously.
Encanto-Palmcroft Historic District (home tour on March 14)
Outside of Downtown Phoenix:
Multiple Dates/Teams/Locations - MLB Spring Training
March 19 - Phoenix Suns vs. Miami Heat
March 21 - Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trailblazers

IDK; you're on your own.

All of the above, plus...

Prescott, Sedona, and Tucson are a little far but doable if you don't mind driving.
That's okay! Call/text/email Katie or Adam. 🩷
